Prosthetic Dentistry
describes any dental procedure that is being performed
on multiple teeth, if not entire quadrants or even
arches. Procedures that fall under Prosthetic
Dentistry include Fixed Bridges,
Removable Partial
Dentures and Full Dentures. Dental Implants
actually fall also under this category, but we have a
separate section for this particular field of dentistry.
Prosthetic dental
procedures are still routine procedures, however due to
their increased complexity, they do require more time
and planning than Operative dental procedures.
